Emre Çakır
Volunteer mentor with Mount Pleasant Community Trust
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Mount Pleasant Community Trust
- 1998 to 2007

I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 310 people through Mount Pleasant Community Trust.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Emre
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Emre: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
