Emon Milon Siddique

Children's librarian in Narayanganj

  • 🇧🇩 Narayanganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh
  • Liberty Library
  • 1982 to 2007
  • English
For 25 years I looked after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Liberty Library. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer. A library should feel like a living room. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Emon

I still remember the favorites of every regular.

What gifts mean to Emon: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
