Emon Hossain Chowdhury

History and special education teacher, Pune

  • 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
  • Pune Secondary School
  • Since 1987
  • English
For 39 years I have been the history teacher at Pune Secondary School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I've had 1,760 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Emon

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
