Emma W. Allen
Mentor in writing and leadership
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- San Diego Association
- 2010 to 2019
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 470 people through San Diego Association.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Emma
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Emma: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
