Emma Verhoeven
Volunteer with Central Food Bank
- 🇳🇱 Nijmegen, Gelderland, Netherlands
- Central Food Bank
- 2014 to 2023
- English, Dutch
I've volunteered with Central Food Bank from 2014 to 2023. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I'm not an expert in anything, I just show up. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Emma
If you've ever been helped by one of our sessions, you're the reason we keep going.
What gifts mean to Emma: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
