I've volunteered with Queensway Community Kitchen from 1990 to 2015. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I'm not an expert in anything, I just show up. I'm always reading two books at once.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Emma
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
What gifts mean to Emma: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
