Emma J. Moran
English literature and statistics teacher, Albuquerque
- 🇺🇸 Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States
- 1979 to 1992
- English
I taught English literature at Good Shepherd Academy in Albuquerque from 1979 to 1992. Most days I taught teenagers, and I never once raised my voice.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Emma
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
