Emma G. McCoy
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Fort Worth, Texas, United States
- Redwood Trades Guild
- Since 2007
- English
My trade is blacksmithing. I opened my own shop in 2007 in Fort Worth and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Emma
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Emma: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
