Emma Elisabeth Stein
Painting and decorating, done properly
- 🇩🇪 Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany
- The Phoenix Workshop
- 1985 to 2013
- German
I've worked in painting and decorating from 1985 to 2013. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,010 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 18 years later for another job.

What gifts mean to Emma: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
