I taught French at Crescent Secondary School in Birmingham from 1986 to 2003. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and my door was open at lunch.
I ran the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
