Emine Defne Tekin

Community faith leader in Istanbul

  • 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
  • Istanbul Parish
  • 1984 to 2020
  • English, Turkish
I came to Istanbul Parish in 1984 and found a community that welcomed me. We run a weekly meal that everyone's welcome at, whatever they believe. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
