Emine Acar
Retired architecture lecturer
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- 1981 to 2003
- English, Turkish
My subject is architecture, and for 22 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Lakeview State University.
Former students now work as a bank clerk and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Emine
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Emine: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
