Emily W. Washington

Librarian at Houston Reading Room

  • 🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
  • Houston Reading Room
  • Since 2002
  • English
For 24 years I look after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Houston Reading Room. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. A library should feel like a living room. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Emily

I still remember the favorites of every regular.
