I taught statistics at Birmingham Middle School in Birmingham from 1995 to 2006. Most days I taught first-year students, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 570 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Emily: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
