I teach chemistry at Lincoln Academy in Reading since 1987. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I learn every name in the first week.
Over the years I've had 1,640 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Emily
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Emily: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me chemistry in 2002 at Lincoln Academy. I still remember the snow day nobody expected. Greetings from San Jose.

I was in your mixed-ability classes class in 2008. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Mexicali.
