I taught special education at Willow Creek Technical College in Albany from 1991 to 2014. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I never once raised my voice.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
I'm still learning every day.
