Emily Leota
Helping people break into trades
- 🇳🇿 Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand
- Auckland Learning Hub
- Since 1988
- English
For 38 years I've mentored people in trades and first-generation students. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Emily
If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Emily: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
