I teach special education and art at Valley View Secondary School, San Jose. I never raise my voice.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Emily
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me special education in 1999 at Valley View Secondary School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected. Greetings from Riverside.

You taught me special education in 2025 at Valley View Secondary School. I still remember that terrible school play.
