I coached dance at Sakura Athletic Club from 2015 to 2025. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Emily
If you played for me, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.
What gifts mean to Emily: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
