Emilia K. Black
Early years teacher at Ballarat Academy, Since 2000
- 🇦🇺 Ballarat, Victoria, Australia
- Ballarat Academy
- Since 2000

I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 26 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Emilia
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Emilia: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me early years in 2004 at Ballarat Academy. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
