Emilia Julia Schreiber
Retired organic chemistry lecturer
- 🇩🇪 Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
- Central Polytechnic
- 2010 to 2025
- German, Spanish
I spent 15 years as a lecturer in organic chemistry at Central Polytechnic in Cologne. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Emilia
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Emilia: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
