I taught English literature at Auckland Academy in Auckland from 1986 to 2016. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I learned every name in the first week.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Emilia
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
