I've been a nurse for 46 years, most of them in oncology at Our Lady of Peace Community Hospital in Wrocław. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
