Tiling, done properly
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- Little Tokyo Workshop
- Since 1991
- English, Japanese
I've worked in tiling since 1991. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 2,000 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Emi
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Emi: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
