Emery J. Wang
12 years teaching religious studies in Grand Rapids
- 🇺🇸 Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States
- Heritage Boys' School
- 2016 to 2025
- English
I taught religious studies at Heritage Boys' School in Grand Rapids from 2016 to 2025. Most days I taught Year 9, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Emery
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Emery: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
