Emery G. Curtis

Disaster relief organizer in Brooklyn

  • 🇺🇸 Brooklyn, New York, United States
  • Brooklyn Mutual Aid
  • 2013 to 2025
  • English, Spanish
I've volunteered with Brooklyn Mutual Aid from 2013 to 2025. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left. I take the work seriously, though not myself. Small habits keep a team together. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
