Emer Sweeney
Runs the elderly befriending in Limerick
- 🇮🇪 Limerick, Munster, Ireland
- Willow Creek Community Kitchen
- Since 1987
- English
I've volunteered with Willow Creek Community Kitchen since 1987. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 16 people now. Everyone brings something.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Emer
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
What gifts mean to Emer: A gift would go toward supplies for our weekly sessions.
