Emer N. Brown
English literature and economics teacher, Limerick
- 🇮🇪 Limerick, Munster, Ireland
- Limerick Grammar School
- 1987 to 1996
- English
I taught English literature and economics at Limerick Grammar School, Limerick. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 280 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Emer: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
