Emeka Victor Oyelaran
Tabla and gospel teacher
- 🇳🇬 Wudil, Kano, Nigeria
- Wudil Orchestra
- 2004 to 2019
- English, Hausa
I play tabla and gospel. I started in 2004 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
More about Emeka
I wrote my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Emeka: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
