Emeka Kelechi Onyeama
Violin and traditional drumming teacher
- 🇳🇬 Asaba, Delta, Nigeria
- Asaba Choir
- 1978 to 2016
- English, Yoruba, Spanish
I play violin and traditional drumming. I started in 1978 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 18 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I make terrible puns.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Emeka
I wrote my first song when I was 16. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Emeka: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
