Elsa Yanti Mahendra
Sitar player and teacher in Magelang
- 🇮🇩 Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia
- Magelang Acacia Quartet
- 1983 to 2016
- English
I've played sitar from 1983 to 2016, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 10 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I watch every football match going.
Instruments or styles
What gifts mean to Elsa: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
