I've spent 47 years as a lecturer in civil engineering at Jakarta Institute of Technology in Jakarta. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a bus driver and in a dozen other fields. It is the best part of this job.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Elsa
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Elsa: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
