Elsa Anisa Effendi
Self-taught mural painting artist
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- The Our Lady of Peace Art Collective
- Since 1982
- English, Indonesian
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 1982 at The Our Lady of Peace Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at The Our Lady of Peace Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Elsa
I've had 3 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
