Blacksmithing for 32 years in Stellenbosch
- 🇿🇦 Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa
- Gateway Trades Guild
- Since 1994
- English, Afrikaans
I've worked in blacksmithing since 1994. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 610 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Elmarie
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
