Elmarie T. Ngcobo
Teacher at Durban Secondary School, loves English literature

For 45 years I have been the English literature teacher at Durban Secondary School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,170 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Elmarie
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me English literature in 1989 at Durban Secondary School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand. Greetings from Madrid.
