Ellie M. Ashworth
Mentor in writing and first-generation students
- 🇨🇦 Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

- Since 1981
- English
For 45 years I've mentored people in writing and first-generation students. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Ellie
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Ellie: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
