Ellie K. Oliver
Teacher at Laredo Secondary School, loves mathematics
- 🇺🇸 Laredo, Texas, United States
- Laredo Secondary School
- Since 1978
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 48 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,060 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ellie
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me mathematics in 1983 at Laredo Secondary School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
