Ellen Van Dijk
Self-taught sculpture artist
- 🇳🇱 Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands
- Riverside Pottery
- Since 1981
- Dutch, Spanish
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 1981 at Riverside Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I carry a notebook everywhere. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ellen
I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Ellen: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
