Ellen Ingrid Van der Horst
Violin player and teacher in Rotterdam
- 🇳🇱 Rotterdam, South Holland, Netherlands
- Rotterdam Ensemble
- 2003 to 2013
- English
I play violin and classical. I started in 2003 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I run most mornings.
More about Ellen
I wrote my first song when I was 13. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Ellen: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
