My trade is blacksmithing. I opened my own shop in 1993 in Manchester and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 16 years later for another job.
More about Ella
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Ella: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
