I teach environmental science at Trinity Secondary School in Manchester since 1980. Most days I teach primary school children, and my door is open at lunch.
Over the years I've had 2,160 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ella
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
