Baking, done properly
- 🇺🇸 Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States

- English
I've worked in baking since 1979. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 2,630 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ella
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
