For 26 years I was the early years teacher at Beacon Public School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ella
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me early years in 2011 at Beacon Public School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
