Ella B. Bowers
Home economics and drama teacher, Raleigh
- 🇺🇸 Raleigh, North Carolina, United States
- Raleigh Girls' School
- Since 1991
- English
For 35 years I have been the home economics teacher at Raleigh Girls' School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the robotics club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
More about Ella
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ella: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
