Elizabeth Gifty Alhassan
Drama and geography teacher, Tamale
- 🇬🇭 Tamale, Northern, Ghana
- Tamale Primary School
- 1997 to 2016
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 19 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 930 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Elizabeth
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Elizabeth: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me drama in 2011 at Tamale Primary School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
