I spent 28 years as a lecturer in civil engineering at Good Shepherd College in Anaheim. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. Former students now work as a clerk and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
