For 16 years I ran the baseball program at Stonebridge Boxing Gym in Augusta. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Elijah
If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
What gifts mean to Elijah: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
