Elias W. Burns
Music and art teacher, Manchester
- 🇬🇧 Manchester, England, United Kingdom
- 1994 to 2018
- English
For 24 years I was the music teacher at Manchester Girls' School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 960 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Elias
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Elias: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
