Elias S. Beck
Oil painting artist in Portland
- 🇺🇸 Portland, Oregon, United States
- Portland Pottery
- Since 1993
- English
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 1993 at Portland Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Elias
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Elias: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.

I bought one of your pieces in 2011. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Erie.
