I've coached badminton at Leipzig Football Club since 2007. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Elias
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Elias: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
